LinkedIn – Building Your Brand and Reputation for Business

You’re probably balancing the client work you have with getting new clients – without enough time for either. Did you know that with just a few changes on your LinkedIn profile you can start to get more inquiries from the kind of client you really want to have...and, committing just 10-minutes a day to LinkedIn can produce new opportunities.

This interactive workshop format will give you an opportunity to work ON your business and put more of Best Practice #2 (see below) in place to BUILD your consulting practice.

Join us to learn and actually start putting in place at the meeting:

  • How to focus in on the critical words that describe your value AND differentiate you from the rest
  • How to make it easy for someone to know how to work with you right away – first steps in the process
  • How to develop a strategy for using your time on LinkedIn wisely and productively

The Women In Consulting Best Practices (identified year after year in our annual survey)

  1. Network to build your business and resources
  2. See and be seen
  3. Ask for what you’re worth
  4. Charge value-based project fees vs. hourly rates
  5. Use subcontractors
  6. Mark up subcontractors
  7. Always collect a percentage of the project fee upfront
  8. Renegotiate fees when the scope changes
