Women In Consulting

Technology is an unavoidable part of every business. How much technology you integrate into your organization is up to you, but it's certain there's enough sensitive information out there to cause some major headaches and sometimes bring a business to a halt.

Ophtek LLC Owner and Technologist Arash Shokouh has had over 22 years of experience with technology spanning IT, engineering and web security. A common thread that comes up on a daily basis from the businesses supported by Ophtek is knowing how to protect company data and staying compliant. Arash will show you the history of data theft and data loss, modern threats to be aware of today and what every business owner and consultant should be doing at a minimum to protect their data.

Key Takeaways

By the end of his presentation, you will:

  • Learn the history of cyber crime and how it's evolved
  • Explore the key ways to spot malicious emails and websites
  • Learn how modern viruses work
  • Understand how the dark web works when data is stolen
  • Learn actionable steps to protect your business data
  • Understand Cyber Security best practices
